It’s becoming increasingly clear to millions of Americans that Donald Trump may be well on his way to defeating Joe Biden in this year’s presidential election.
One of these Americans is the Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
This was revealed in one of the most surprising of ways, however. It was confirmed when Kennedy accidentally leaked a private phone call that he had with Trump in the wake of the assassination attempt on the former president last Saturday.

“We’re going to win; we’re way ahead of the guy [Biden],” Trump could be heard saying, the Daily Mail first reported, adding that Kennedy Jr. responded, “Yeah.”Trump spoke of his recent call with Biden, saying, “He was very nice actually. He called and he said, ‘How did you choose to move to the right?’”
Trump assumed the question was about his head movement that saved him from being killed by the shooter’s bullet. He said he told Biden he was looking straight on, “I was just showing a chart.” Trump laughed to Kennedy, “I didn’t have to tell him the chart, it was about all the people pouring into our country, right? But I just turned my head to show the chart and something wrapped me. It sounded like a giant … like the world’s largest mosquito. … What do they call that? An AR-15 or something, that’s a big gun, pretty tough guns, right?”
Trump also spoke to Kennedy Jr. about vaccines, saying, “I would love you to do stuff, and I think it would be so big for you.”
Kennedy ‘Mortified’ That He Leaked The Call
Kennedy has since apologized for leaking the call, saying that he was “mortified” that it was shared with the world. However, what was said on the call is nothing short of fascinating.
Kennedy is known both for his intelligence and for being a direct person who calls things like he sees them. Knowing this, it’s encouraging to see him agree that Trump will likely beat Biden in the presidential election. Even as someone who is running himself, Kennedy can’t deny that this race is Trump’s to lose.
Now that Kennedy has said this publicly, he is undoubtedly thankful that he finally was given Secret Service protection this week. Democrats will undoubtedly be livid when they see what he had to say, and we all saw what can come from that when Trump himself was shot in the ear on Saturday.

It’s also interesting to see Trump seemingly give Kennedy a soft offer about joining his administration. The Kennedy family has a long history with the Democratic Party. Because of this, the left is sure to be triggered if they see a one of the main Kennedy family members working in the Trump White House.
While it’s unfortunate that this phone call was leaked, this could actually end up working out for both Trump and Kennedy. It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out in the months to come!
