Secret Service Failed to Protect Trump Again, Top Agent Abandoned Post to Breastfeed

Since Biden and Harris took over the White House, the Secret Service has become a joke. We’ve heard, for years, stories about agents getting into car wrecks or being arrested for DUIs. But the very worst was when they failed to stop a gunman from shooting at Donald Trump. As it turns out, the agency was using non-Secret Service agents to protect the former president.

Plus, they neglected basic steps needed in securing a location. Skeptics claimed the Biden/Harris-run agency willfully provided poor security for the Republican.

The progressive head of the agency resigned in disgrace. But it seems clear that the Secret Service is still being run by incompetent agents. They were supposed to secure the location for a Trump rally in North Carolina. While conducting a sweep before the president arrived, the agency discovered an agent making a shocking breach of protocol. And it is raising serious questions.

From The Blaze:
The U.S. Secret Service once again left former President Donald Trump vulnerable to attack after a female agent reportedly abandoned her post to breastfeed her child during a event in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

During this last-minute security check, the site agent found a female Secret Service agent breastfeeding her child in a room reserved for “important Secret Service official work”…

Secret Service agents on duty are prohibited from bringing their children to a protective assignment, Crabtree added.

Just as Trump’s motorcade was set to arrive, something disturbing was discovered. The site agent in charge of overseeing all security for the event conducted a final sweep of the area, a standard protocol meant to ensure that every possible threat has been neutralized. But what this agent found was anything but standard. In a room reserved for critical Secret Service operations, a female agent was discovered breastfeeding her child. This room, intended for urgent, security-related activities, had essentially been turned into a nursery—a violation of not just protocol, but basic common sense.

The implications of this discovery are deeply troubling. It’s not just about a breach in protocol; it’s about a breakdown in the very fabric of security that’s supposed to be airtight around a former president. This is not the first time the Secret Service has faced criticism for lapses in their duties, but this incident strikes a particularly raw nerve, coming on the heels of an already volatile situation.

Now, some might come to this agent’s defense. How can anyone get mad at a nursing mother? Well, what we should be asking is why the Secret Service is employing nursing mothers? Shouldn’t she be on maternity leave? Why is the agency putting young mothers in a role to fend off gunman or other dangerous people? It seems like a shocking lack of common sense on the part of this “elite” group of protectors.

The disgraced former SS head prioritized diversity in hiring agents. She wanted more women in the agency, regardless of their qualifications. Well, when you do that, you sacrifice the very goals of the agency. Nursing mothers should not be put in the position of taking bullets for a presidential candidate. Nor should they be so poorly trained that they don’t realize it is inappropriate to bring a nursing child to an event.

But this is the United States under progressive, idiotic Democrats. They do not use common sense. They prioritize their lofty, unrealistic DEI goals. The result? Rampant incompetence where we cannot afford to have it.

Key Takeaways:

  • A Secret Service agent was found breastfeeding her child in a secure area during Trump’s event in Asheville, North Carolina, violating security protocols.
  • This breach follows a recent assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, where security failures nearly cost him his life.
  • Concerns are mounting over the Secret Service’s ability to protect Trump, with repeated lapses undermining confidence in the agency.
