Rock Band Frontman Tells Trump Voters “Don’t Come to My Shows – Forever”

The days when music brought people together seem like ancient history. Remember when we could enjoy concerts without a political litmus test? Those times are fading fast as more entertainers build walls between themselves and fans who don’t share their politics.

The entertainment industry’s hatred toward everyday Americans continues to grow. Hollywood elites and music stars increasingly view their own fans with contempt if they happen to support conservative values. This disturbing trend has reached new heights with yet another performer deciding who deserves to hear their music.

The lead singer of rock band “The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus” has banned Trump supporters from his concerts – forever. Frontman Ronnie Winter made this declaration in a video on his band’s Instagram page. He clearly targeted Christians who voted for President Trump.

From ‘Fox News’:

“If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — forever, not just like these four years,” Winter said. “If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you. You are not allowed to come to my shows. I don’t want you there. Don’t come to my shows.”

Winter didn’t stop there. He continued his rant by claiming Trump supporters aren’t worthy of listening to his music. This included the band’s most successful 2006 hit “Face Down.”

“It’s awesome that you love ‘Face Down’; it’s not for you. It’s not your song, OK? It is not your song,” Winter declared. The band hasn’t released anything significant since their last album in 2018.

Hollywood’s Growing Blacklist

Winter joins a growing list of musicians who have made hating Trump supporters part of their brand. Bruce Springsteen has made anti-Trump speeches a regular feature of his current world tour. He calls the Trump administration “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous.”

Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello recently said, “F— that guy,” when referring to President Trump at a Boston music festival. Neil Young went even further. He wrote on his website that he fears Trump might detain him during his next American tour.

This pattern shows how disconnected celebrities have become from millions of Americans. Instead of building bridges, these stars are building walls. And they do this while claiming to champion “acceptance.” Does that seem fair to you?

When Stars Reject Their Own Fans

The most ironic part of Winter’s tirade came when he explained why Trump supporters shouldn’t attend his shows. “You’re going to see a lot of acceptance from all areas of life and races, and um, you’re just going to see a lot of harmony, OK? That’s not what you’re about, OK?”

In other words, his version of “acceptance” excludes roughly half the country. His idea of “harmony” means banning those with different political views.

Winter even specifically targeted Christians. He showed special hostility toward people of faith who supported Trump. How is this “acceptance” by any definition?

The True Face of “Tolerance”

Winter proudly declared himself “woke” in the same video. He said, “The thing about being woke is you’re awake, and once you’re awake you can never go to sleep.” Yet this awakening seems to have led to a strange form of sleepwalking. He can’t see how preaching tolerance while practicing intolerance is contradictory.

For conservative Americans, especially Christians who were specifically targeted, this is just the latest reminder of how the entertainment industry views them.

  • This joins similar anti-Trump statements from Bruce Springsteen, Tom Morello, and Neil Young
