Billie Eilish’s ‘Stolen Land’ Grammys Rant Backfires as She’s Caught Fighting Trespassers

You know the script by now. Another glittering awards show, another celebrity who hasn’t pumped their own gas in twenty years stepping up to lecture you. From inside a hermetically sealed bubble of wealth and private security, they piously preach about the supposed sins of the nation that gave them everything.

These sermonettes from the Hollywood pulpit almost always follow the same tired formula. They demand open borders for the masses while living behind high walls. They call for policies that would crater normal American communities, secure in the knowledge that the chaos will never breach their own gated walls. It’s a performative charade, and real Americans are tired of it. The latest example, however, is so magnificently blatant that it inspired a brilliant real-world response.

From ‘Breitbart’:

Woke pop star Billie Eilish is taking heat after piously proclaiming that the United States was built on “stolen land,” even as she has taken a man to court and sought a restraining order after he trespassed at one of her homes. Eilish was applauded by woke leftists on Sunday when she blasted the U.S. over “stolen land” claims during her time on stage at the Grammy Awards.

The dumpy “Birds of a Feather” singer went on a tirade during the broadcast and said, “No one is illegal on stolen land.” Donning an anti-ICE “ICE Out” pin… Eilish said “It’s really hard to know what to say and what to do right now. We need to keep speaking up and keep protesting. Our voices really do matter and the people matter. And fuck ICE. That’s all I’m going to say.”

And there you have it. A spoiled, profoundly ungrateful pop star, who owes her entire fortune to the country she spits on, somehow believes she’s earned the right to lecture America. With a vulgar swipe at our dedicated border enforcement agents, she parrots a slogan—“no one is illegal on stolen land”—that is as intellectually bankrupt as it is childish. But for the woke Left, it’s never about logic; it’s about the cheap thrill of feeling righteous.

Hollywood’s Glass Houses

Fortunately, the staggering hypocrisy of a multi-millionaire denouncing property rights from her lavish estates was not lost on everyone. As countless people online immediately asked, if the land is stolen, why won’t she give her own multi-million dollar mansions back to whomever she deems the rightful owners?

The answer, of course, is that these radical ideas are only for other people to suffer through. The definitive proof came with the revelation that Eilish herself has eagerly used the full force of the law to protect her own “stolen land.” She previously secured a years-long restraining order to keep a man from trespassing on her Los Angeles property. Suddenly, the concepts of borders and illegal presence became very real to her when her own backyard was at stake.

Calling the Celebrity Bluff

But pointing out the hypocrisy only goes so far. Thankfully, one activist decided it was time to stop tweeting and start teaching a masterclass in consequences. Australian activist Drew Pavlou, delightfully inspired by the singer’s own words, launched a fundraiser to fly to America and attempt to move onto her Malibu mansion’s property. His reasoning was a piece of beautiful political theater: if “no human being is illegal on stolen land,” then he has every right to be there.

Pavlou’s deliciously simple plan exposes the anarchic endpoint of Eilish’s ideology. He is taking her shallow rhetoric and applying it directly to her front door, proving that the very laws and property rights she disdains are the only things creating a safe, ordered society. Of course, his plan to pitch a tent on her driveway would be a violation of California’s trespassing laws—the very same laws Eilish has used for her own protection. It turns out some borders are sacred after all: the ones surrounding celebrity mansions.

Key Takeaways

  • Woke Hollywood elites live by a shameless “rules for thee, not for me” double standard.
  • Private property rights are a fundamental pillar of American liberty and order.
  • Radical open-border rhetoric collapses when applied to the elites’ own backyards.
  • Creative, common-sense activism is a powerful tool for exposing liberal hypocrisy.
