Democrats everywhere are still in shock over Kamala Harris’ brutal defeat to Donald Trump last Tuesday. Heading into Election Day, leftists thought that there was no way that Harris could lose to Trump.
That’s why it came as a massive shock to them when Trump came out on top not only in the Electoral College, but in the popular vote as well. In the days since then, Democrats have been scrambling to find someone to blame for this debacle.
Unfortunately for the former First Lady Michelle Obama, however, she’s now finding herself in the hot seat. Indeed, the ESPN host Stephen A. Smith is speaking out to claim that A-list celebrity endorsements from the likes of Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey were the major reason that Harris lost.

“In fairness, I don’t think anybody should be laying the Party’s loss at [Harris’s] feet,” the sports commentator prefaced. “In the end, celebrities, who are worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, who most American citizens feel are incredibly detached from their way of life and their quality of life, were not going to get away and guilt them into doing something different than what their experience says is going on and what they should do about it.”Going on to cite the former First Lady’s Kalamazoo rally speech, in which she told the audience that a Black man’s “vote for [Trump] is a vote against us,” Smith fired back: “If we don’t agree with you, we’re against you?
“How do you think the men felt about that? So we have to do what you tell us to do; otherwise, we’re anti-you? You thought that worked? Do y’all know anything about most men? You think that’s going to work?”
Michelle And Barack Obama Talked Down To Black Voters
Both Michelle and Barack Obama had gone into panic mode last month over polls that showed that Harris was hemorrhaging support among Black male voters. They responded by stooping so low as to try and shame Black men into voting for Harris. In doing so, however, all the Obamas showed was just how little respect they actually have for the intelligence of Black voters.
Days before Michelle’s infamous Kalamazoo speech, Barack chastised Black voters for not throwing all of their support behind Harris. A visibly irritated Barack lamented that the lack of enthusiasm for Harris “seems to be more pronounced with the brothers.”
“And you are thinking about sitting out?” Barack said. “Part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that.”
Unfortunately for Michelle and Barack Obama, however, these efforts backfired big time on them and their beloved Harris.
In the end, American voters of all races aren’t nearly as dumb as Michelle and Barack Obama think that we are. American voters also don’t like being talked down to by wealthy celebrities who have lost all touch with the realities that millions of U.S. citizens are facing every day.
Perhaps if she wants Democrats to win, Michelle might want to sit out the next election cycle. While she’s at it she may also want to have her husband join her on the sidelines. Clearly, the Obamas simply do more harm to their own party than good!
