Melania Trump Fires Back After Her Late Mother’s Personal Information Is Released

Amalija Knavs, the mother of former First Lady Melania Trump, died back in January after a lengthy illness. She was 78 years old.

Melania was extremely close to her mother, and she continues to mourn her to this day. That’s why Melania is livid about the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security’s “shocking” decision to release her late mother’s immigration records.

The 166 pages of documents related to Amalija were made public amid the Heritage Foundation’s ongoing legal battle over Prince Harry’s visa application filings. Never to take things laying down, Melania is firing back in a big way.

From Daily Mail:
‘Mrs. Trump is rightfully upset,’ Knavs’s immigration lawyer Michael Wildes told DailyMail.com Wednesday.

‘She will be looking to explore retaliatory options to protect her family.

The records were released back in May, just 11 days after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted. This has left Melania stunned and questioning how “such a sensitive disclosure” was permitted.

More from Daily Mail:
‘This egregious and abhorrent violation of Ms. Knavs’s immigration file – including highly sensitive medical information and addresses that impact her family’s security- is an outlandish affront, not just to Ms. Knavs, and her family including former First Lady Melania Trump, but also to the very notions of confidentiality and privacy,’ the lawyer said.

‘That the DHS released Ms. Knavs’s immigration file after only 11 days further screams the impropriety of this request. How could the DOJ and Secret Service allow this breach?’

Wildes represented Knavs when she became a U.S. citizen back in 2018. He later concluded by saying that this “shocking and completely unnecessary disclosure” has “desecrated her memory.”

The documents released about Knavs include some very personal information about her, such as her home address in Slovenia and her vaccination status for various diseases. They also include a negative test result for HIV and multiple passports of hers in full.

Meanwhile, the Heritage Foundation is trying to get its hands on Prince Harry’s immigration records. While the request to have them released was denied, the conservative organization is planning to appeal the decision using the release of Knavs’ file as grounds for the royal’s documents being made public as well.

The Biden-Harris DHS Should Be Ashamed

Sadly, Knavs being disrespected in this way by the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security comes as no surprise. Knavs never spoke out publicly about politics. However, being a family member of Donald Trump’s is an unforgivable offense in the eyes of the hateful left. That’s why they had no problem violating the privacy of a woman just months after her death.

In contrast, Prince Harry has shown himself to be a woke liberal at every turn. This is seemingly why the Biden-Harris administration is willing to have his back and keep his information private.

Indeed, the mainstream media loves to mock Melania in the most vile of ways. This entire situation just goes to show how strong she really is, and how fiercely loyal she is to her own family.

We applaud Melania for fighting back against the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security. Here’s hoping that she’s able to get justice for her late mother!

Key Takeaways:

  • The Biden-Harris DHS releases private immigration records of Melania’s late mother.
  • This comes months after Melania’s mother died at 78.
