Border Patrol Commander Denied Service at Speedway Over Manager’s Anti-ICE Stance

There was a time, and it wasn’t long ago, when a uniform meant something. It was a promise. Whether it was the crisp service uniform of a soldier or the simple badge of a sheriff, it signified a commitment to something larger than oneself—a pledge to serve and protect this nation and its communities. It was the visible line between a civilized society and total chaos.

But a foul ideology has been seeping into the American bloodstream for years, dripping down from radicalized universities (and we all know which ones we’re talking about). It has poisoned our culture with a doctrine of contempt for authority and disdain for the very idea of law and order. That poison has now leached out of the protest lines and into our daily lives, wielded by people who see patriotism not as a virtue, but as a provocation.

From ‘Fox News’:

“It’s shameful conduct to try to penalize men and women who are going out, day in and day out, seeking to enforce federal… law, seeking to penalize them and refusing to provide them services. We’ve seen this in the past, particularly when a lot of emotions were high in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, in other places where individuals were refusing service to law enforcement.”

This isn’t just some abstract theory. This shameful conduct is happening right now, in a place as ordinary as a Speedway gas station in Minnesota. The target was U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino. His offense? Trying to buy something while wearing the uniform of a federal officer. What followed was a disgusting preview of the radical Left’s endgame for America.

A Chilling Display of Disrespect

Video captured the moment a man, supposedly the manager, followed Commander Bovino out of the store after refusing to serve him. When asked why, his answer was a masterclass in leftist arrogance: “Because I wanted to. I don’t support ICE and nobody here does.”

Just let that marinate for a second. A federal commander was publicly shamed and denied service for the simple fact that he enforces our nation’s laws. When the manager was asked if his little act of discrimination was even legal, his response showed his complete contempt for the system that gives him the freedom to operate his business in the first place. “If it is [illegal] I personally don’t care,” he scoffed. The arrogance is just breathtaking. This isn’t an opinion; it’s a declaration of war on civility itself.

This Is Not an Isolated Incident

And if you think this was just one unhinged manager having a bad day, you haven’t been paying attention. This is a pattern. In a nearby town, a Hampton Inn repeatedly refused to accommodate ICE agents, canceling their reservations. Even Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was once denied entry to use a restroom at a building in a Chicago suburb.

The key difference is what happened next. After public fury erupted, Hilton, the parent company of Hampton Inn, did the right thing and severed ties with the franchisee. They sent a message. But from Speedway and its parent company, 7-Eleven? Utter silence. That silence is an endorsement. They’ve clearly made a business decision to side with the woke mob over the American heroes who secure our border.

These are not merely attacks on individuals. They are calculated attacks on the very foundation of our country. By targeting the uniform, these activists are targeting the rule of law.

Key Takeaways

  • Leftist ideology is now fueling open discrimination against American law enforcement.
  • Corporations must choose between supporting our nation’s heroes or pandering to radical activists.
  • American consumers hold the power to punish businesses that disrespect patriotic values.
