House Votes 344-79 to Reject Trump Impeachment Over Iran Strikes

The radical left just can’t stand seeing President Trump win. Even when he’s protecting America from dangerous regimes like Iran, they’re still obsessed with finding ways to take him down. It’s Trump Derangement Syndrome at its finest – the man could cure cancer and they’d impeach him for putting doctors out of work!

Democrats tried yet again to impeach President Trump – this time for his weekend strikes on Iran that may have actually prevented World War III. Seriously? The man takes decisive action to protect America, and the radical left wants to punish him for it!

But here’s the shocker: most Democrats joined Republicans to kill the impeachment push. On Tuesday, the House voted 344-79 to table (basically trash) Rep. Al Green’s impeachment resolution. A whopping 128 Democrats sided with all 216 Republicans to stop this nonsense.

From ‘Fox News’:

The House of Representatives voted along bipartisan lines to quash a lone progressive lawmaker’s bid to impeach President Donald Trump Tuesday afternoon.

Lawmakers agreed to table the measure in a 344–79 vote. A vote to table is a procedural mechanism allowing House members to vote against consideration of a bill without having to vote on the bill itself…

“A majority of House Democrats joined Republican lawmakers to kill Green’s resolution, a sign of how politically caustic the effort appears to be. Just 79 Democrats voted to proceed with the impeachment vote, while 128 voted to halt it in its tracks.”

Even top Democrats like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries didn’t want anything to do with this impeachment circus. Jeffries and his leadership team all voted to table the measure, showing just how unpopular these impeachment games have become.

Trump Laughs Off Latest Impeachment Threat

President Trump didn’t seem worried. In fact, he mocked the progressives pushing for his impeachment and dared them to “make my day.”

“She better start worrying about her own Primary, before she thinks about beating our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, whose career is definitely on very thin ice!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, taking aim at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who had called for his impeachment.

Trump added: “She and her Democrat friends have just hit the Lowest Poll Numbers in Congressional History, so go ahead and try Impeaching me.”

Democrats Deeply Divided Over Impeachment

This vote exposes the massive split in the Democratic party. The progressive wing, led by firebrands like AOC, seems obsessed with impeachment while mainstream Democrats want nothing to do with it.

In fact, this isn’t even the first failed impeachment attempt this year. Just last month, Michigan Rep. Shri Thanedar yanked a previous impeachment resolution before it even got a vote after facing fierce backlash from his fellow Democrats.

Green defended his impeachment push, saying: “I did not come to Congress to be a bystander while a president abuses power and devolves American democracy into authoritarianism with himself as an authoritarian president.”

Democrats Can’t Let Go of Failed Strategy

This overwhelming defeat shows that even Democrats have finally realized impeachment is a losing strategy. After two failed impeachment attempts during Trump’s first term, you’d think they might have learned their lesson.

But some progressives just can’t help themselves. They’re so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they can’t recognize when he takes action to protect America and its allies.

The bipartisan rejection of this impeachment scheme proves that Trump’s decisive leadership on national security transcends partisan politics. When America faces threats from hostile regimes like Iran, most lawmakers – even Democrats – understand that strong action is sometimes necessary.

For the radical progressives still pushing impeachment, this defeat should be a wake-up call. The American people want solutions, not more political games. As Trump begins his second term with this decisive victory against the impeachment crowd, Democrats might want to rethink their strategy if they hope to remain relevant.

America deserves better than endless impeachment theatrics. Thankfully, this time, enough Democrats agreed.
