Days After Google Tries to ‘Erase’ Trump Ad – Donald’s Team Gets a Surprise Decision

The largest tech companies on the planet seem to be trying to censor former President Donald Trump. He keeps winning in the polls and the liberal media powerhouses are scrambling to stop his momentum heading into the 2024 presidential election.

Trump has a creative team for his campaign that rivals any advertising or public relations company in the world. His ads have gone viral on almost all social media platforms as he continues his technology-infused barnstorming across America.

The former president’s team is so effective that Google tried its best to quash a recent video ad targeting the hapless Joe Biden over his policies that increased inflation and exploded illegal immigration. The video circulated under Google radar before it was suddenly shut down. But the censorship didn’t last long.

From The Daily Wire:
“Google appears to have completely reversed their decision,” Andrew Arenge, director of the Penn Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies, posted on X. “The Make America Great Again, Inc. ads are no longer flagged for a policy violation in the Google ad archive.”

“This ad has been removed by Google for a ‘policy violation.’ It was live in the Google archive this morning but I just looked and it’s now been removed,” Arenge posted.

Arenge state that a Trump-supporting Super PAC spent more than $15,000 targeting the ad at specific communities near Macon, Georgia after launching the ad on April 25. The ad reportedly sought to reach black voters as Biden struggling with this key Democrat voting bloc as shown in recent polling in rural Georgia.

The ad depicts a Biden campaign worker getting rejected over the telephone by a voter who said he will no longer vote for the president. The voter cites the president’s policies that enhanced historic inflation levels and his incentives for illegal aliens.

In the ad, the voter said he is struggling to pay bills while Biden gives handouts to “newcomers.” “They get handouts and I’m paying for it,” the voter states. The voter then said, “Things were better before Biden. I’m voting for Trump.”

The ad apparently hit a nerve for Biden as the left-leaning Google and its legion of online censors worked to keep the ad from doing its job – exposing the truth about Biden’s failures.

An April poll from Rasmussen Reports showed Biden falling among black voters. In 2020, Biden topped Trump by 92%-8% among black voters. Rasmussen showed Biden’s lead has been cut to 48%-39% as Trump makes inroads into the black voting community.

The good news in Trump’s fight against big-tech censorship, at least in this instance, was that the censorship failed, and the ad was allowed as it should be under the First Amendment.

Key Takeaways:

  • Pressure forced Google to reverse its decision to ban a Trump campaign video ad.
  • The ad targeted Biden on inflation and illegal immigration as it reached Black voters.
  • The ad was flagged for a “policy violation” that didn’t hold up under closer scrutiny.
