Liberal comedian and pundit Bill Maher may not be liked by many Republicans, but he will let loose whatever he feels is the truth. Sometimes his truth hurts, and the Democrats are not going to like Maher’s latest take on Joe Biden.

Maher made it clear that Democrats won’t like the outcome of election day next year if they stick with the incumbent in the White House. He believes Biden’s candidacy is in trouble.

“He will lose,” Maher said. “Because at some point perception becomes reality.”

Maher was speaking during his podcast “Club Random” with Democrat heavyweight political analyst James Carville. Both were on the same page about Biden’s prospects to beat former President Donald Trump in a head-to-head race next fall.

Age is a factor for them, and Maher suggested that anyone with the qualities of “not stupid,” not “woke” and a “50-ish-year-old” Democrat would be able to beat Trump. Maher said Biden has done a “great service” by beating Trump before, but the next election will be a failure for him.

Maher previously made comments on his cable television show about Biden’s prospects in 2024. He doesn’t believe Biden will win again against Trump. Maher said the “parade moves on” and 2024 will not be the same as 2020 partly because of Biden’s age.

Maher’s comments repeatedly referred to how Democrats must move on from Biden as the 2024 presidential nominee.

“If I’m on a plane and the pilot says, ‘This is your captain, Buzz Aldrin,’ I’m getting off,” Maher was quoted as saying.

Carville added a few choice words about Biden’s chances that don’t show much support for the incumbent. It was a recurring theme in their blunt conversation about Biden’s capabilities and prospects in 2024. Carville said that if the election were held a month from now that “Trump would be the betting favorite. Somebody better wake the f*** up.”

That’s a mouthful from two die-hard liberals who don’t appear to be making much headway in influencing the decision makers in the Democrat Party. Republicans should hope that their hard truths continue to fall on deaf ears among leftist elites.
