Believe it or not, Joe Biden is still the president of the United States. Since dropping out of the 2024 presidential race back in July, Biden has been laying so low that it’s been easy to forget that he’s still technically the leader of the country.
Throughout the four years that Biden has been in office, he’s become infamous for his frequent gaffes. Indeed, Biden can barely get through a public appearance of any kind without embarrassing himself by flubbing his words, trailing off into nonsense, or experiencing some other kind of verbal gaffe.
While hosting the 2024 NBA champion Boston Celtics at the White House on Thursday, Biden showed once again that his cognitive skills are seemingly as bad as can be. As he met with the players, the 82 year-old Biden appeared to forget what team they even play for.

While announcing the team’s latest championship, Biden turned to the team to make sure they were called the Celtics.“You’re the Celtics, right?” Biden asked the players during a moment in his address. The comment was met with light but reserved chuckles from some in the crowd.
Biden also joked that he didn’t know where the players came from.
“They just showed up. I don’t know where the hell they came from,” Biden said.

Things only got worse from there, as Biden shockingly appeared to reveal his own Secret Service code name.
“All of you may not know this, but my Secret Service name is ‘Celtic.’ For real, because I’m Irish,” Biden said. “Everybody behind me is Irish in their heart. I feel a special pride in this trophy for this old Irish Celtic. To all you Celtics, congratulations.”
This has reportedly been Biden’s code name dating back to his time as Barack Obama’s vice president. We’re sure that the Secret Service was far from pleased that Biden has decided to reveal this code name to all!
Democrats Spent Years Covering For Biden
It should be noted that the Democrat establishment spent years covering for Biden and hiding his apparent cognitive failings from the world. They told the American people not to believe their eyes and ears when it came to Biden’s clear mental decline. With straight faces, top Democrats pushed the narrative that any claims that Biden was not cognitively sound were nothing more than rightwing conspiracy theories.
That all changed when it came time for Biden to meet Donald Trump back in June on the debate stage. There, Democrats could no longer hide Biden’s apparent cognitive failings from the American people. Within weeks, the Democrat establishment successfully convinced Biden to drop out of the race, and they immediately anointed Kamala Harris as his replacement.
The damage, however, was already done. After years of being lied to about Biden’s cognitive state, the American people had lost all faith in Democrats. That’s partly why come Election Day, Republicans won the presidency, the Senate, and the House.
