They argued that Biden had allegedly “given aid or comfort to the enemies” while he was a senator, vice president, and president, and was thus “ineligible” to run for the nation’s highest office.

Several Illinois residents have filed with the State Board of Elections to trike Bidne off the ballot. They are claiming the president is “ineligible” to run in the 2024 Election. These voters have accused Biden of aiding or comforting the country’s enemies, since his time as senator.

Their main focus seems to be on the border crisis. These voters have claimed Biden is aiding nations like China and Iran and drug cartels like the Sinaloa Cartel and MS-13. Because Biden appears to be neglecting the massive flood of illegal immigration, these voters made this accusation.

It’s unclear if the state will take these objections seriously. But for a blue state to see challenges to Biden’s eligibility will be seen as ironic by many. Democrats and anti-Trumpers in at least 27 states have tried to remove Trump from the ballot.

Most of the attempts to remove Trump from the ballot have failed. Two states have removed Trump from their ballots, Colorado and Maine. The Trump campaign has taken the issue to the Supreme Court, which could settle the controversy once and for all.
