Since the October 7th attack on Israel, Democrats in the U.S. have become increasingly hostile to America’s ally. Even though Israel has been fighting to protect itself, everyone from Joe Biden to Chuck Schumer has criticized them.
Lawmakers including Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have even called on Israeli citizens to turn on their prime minister and elect a new leader.
This, while Hamas and other Iranian-backed terror groups continue to pose a threat. It seems Democrats are bowing to progressive pressure to side with Gaza over Israel. But is Israel listening to Democrats to oust Netanyahu?

Two new polls show Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu surging politically in Israel, despite pressure by Democrats in the United States, and left-wing protests in Israel, to force new elections and a change in government…A Channel 12 survey conducted on Wednesday of 500 voters representing a cross-section of Israeli society asked “Who is better suited to serve as prime minister?” It found 36% chose Netanyahu and 30% [main rival Benny] Gantz. The margin of error was 4.4%.
Despite interference from U.S. Democrats, Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu is enjoying more support today than he did a year ago. The war sparked by October 7 could be galvanizing support within the nation. Israeli citizens do not seem interested in replacing Netanyahu, while they are fighting for their lives.
Two polls suggest Netanyahu is seeing rising support among voters. This comes soon after President Biden and other Democrat lawmakers publically slandered Netanyahu and his campaign into Gaza.
Democrats have tried to undermine Israel’s sovereignty over the Hamas attack. Their criticisms seem to suggest that Israel, unlike any other country, does not have the right to fight back after terrorists strike their civilians. Propaganda from progressives and Democrats have accused Israel of “genocide” almost going as far as to say Israel brought the attack on itself.
This has harmed U.S.-Israel relations. And it seems to be hurting Democrats among American voters. Most Americans appear to support Israel and want the country to destroy Hamas. Only far-left progressives are siding with Gaza and it seems, Hamas. Antisemitism is rising among college progressives as they spread anti-Israel slander.
