Radical Islamic Streamer Claims NYC Now Belongs to Muslims Thanks to Socialist Mamdani

There was a time when New York City meant something unmistakable. Ambition. Grit. The promise that anyone willing to work hard enough could build a life worth living. Immigrants didn’t come to remake America — they came to join it. That compact between citizen and country built the skyline, powered the economy, and made New York the envy of the civilized world. But here’s what nobody warned us about: ambition without leadership doesn’t just stall. It rots.

So what happens when the man running America’s largest city refuses to defend its identity? What happens when radical voices feel so comfortable, so protected, that they openly declare the American project finished — right there on the streets that once symbolized its triumph? Last Friday night, New Yorkers found out. And if you’re not paying attention to what’s unfolding in that city, you should be.

From Fox News:

A streamer who broadcasts to more than 1 million followers on a popular online platform set off a viral firestorm after invoking Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s name as he declared Islam would take over New York City.

“Allahu Akbar!” the extremist internet personality Sneako yelled amidst a group of Egypt soccer fans while drums were banged and horns were blown. Egyptian flags waved among the crowd as they chanted along.

The streets of Mamdani’s New York

The full scope of what Sneako — real name Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy — broadcast to his million-plus followers deserves your attention. “This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan,” he declared. “Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.”

Then came the line that should end a political career: “Welcome to Mamdani’s New York. You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too.”

Let that land for a second. He didn’t just mouth off for clicks. He named the mayor. He credited Mamdani personally. He held up New York City under Mamdani’s watch as the blueprint for Islamic dominion — and he did it to cheering crowds on a livestream viewed by tens of millions.

Sneako’s background tells its own story. A Bernie Sanders devotee in 2016, he later drifted into the antisemitic corners of the far-right before converting to Islam in 2023. A socialist turned provocateur turned jihadist cheerleader. Quite the résumé. But Sneako isn’t the real problem here.

A mayor who won’t defend his own city

The real problem is the man whose name got used as a victory banner — and who couldn’t be bothered to say a single word about it. Mamdani’s office did not return Fox News Digital’s request for comment. No condemnation. No distancing. Dead air.

Funny how selective that quiet streak is. Just days before, during his America 250 speech, Mamdani found plenty of words. He used the anniversary of our nation’s founding to torch ICE agents, take shots at Elon Musk, and lecture Americans about “supremacy.” The man has no shortage of opinions about what’s wrong with the country that handed him power. But when a radical claims his city for Islam and stamps Mamdani’s name on it? Crickets.

America pushes back

Not everyone stayed mute. Rob O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who put a bullet in Osama bin Laden, offered the best response: “These guys sound WAY different when you wake them up at 2am.”

Even bitter rivals found common ground. Alex Jones posted “Deport him NOW!!!” — and Elon Musk replied with a simple “Yes.” When those two are finishing each other’s sentences, something genuinely extraordinary has happened.

Sneako, predictably, doubled down. “Every knee will bow,” he posted. “Every tongue confess.” And when Musk endorsed his deportation, Sneako told the South African-born billionaire to “Go back to Africa. This is my country.”

Mamdani must go

Anger is the right response here. But anger without action is just noise. Zohran Mamdani has demonstrated — through his own inflammatory rhetoric and his deliberate refusal to push back against open radicalism — that he has no business leading America’s largest city. When your name becomes the rallying cry for people who want to replace the republic with something unrecognizable, and you can’t even muster a denial, you’ve disqualified yourself.

New York deserves a leader who will defend it. Right now, it doesn’t have one.

Key Takeaways

  • Extremist streamer Sneako declared NYC an “Islamic Republic” and credited Mayor Mamdani by name.
  • Mamdani’s office refused to condemn the remarks, maintaining total silence.
  • Even rivals Musk and Alex Jones united in calling for Sneako’s deportation.
  • A mayor who won’t defend American values has no business holding office.
