What’s Happening:

Even the Democratic Party has little hope that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis can be beaten.

But, despite all common sense, their candidate is trying to unseat this popular conservative.

We are not confident of his chances, though, after what he just said.

Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist compared himself to Jesus in a bizarre stump speech that was uncovered this week. During the speech, he said he was fighting against “DeSatan,” a reference to the state’s popular Republican Governor Ron DeSantis…

“You know, some people call him ‘DeSatan,’ have you heard that?” Crist continued. “DeSatan vs. that [points to a campaign sign of his last name.”

“Christ,” a few in the audience responded.

“Oh, think about it,” he said. “The choice is crystal clear. There’s no question about it. It is crystal clear. He’s bad. We’re good.”

Talk about extreme. The Democrat candidate for Florida governor, Charlie Crist, compared himself to Jesus Christ during a campaign speech.

He claimed “some people” call popular Gov. DeSantis “DeSatan.” What people, Charlie?

I’m only hearing you call him that. And that’s pretty decent of you, calling a man “DeSatan” whose wife’s been battling cancer.

What do Democrats claim about “going high”?

And, of course, if Charlie is saying his rival is “Satan,” he referred to himself as “Christ.”

Democrats have gone after Republicans, calling them “extreme,” “divisive,” and “threats.” But the GOP is not callings its rivals “Satan.”

The irony is that Crist said the election is “about decency, about being decent to one another, about being kind to everyone.”

Lol, really? Are Democrats this lacking in self-awareness?

The man claims to be the decent one, then calls his opponent Satan!

You really can’t make this stuff up.

Somehow, I don’t think this is going to win him any votes.
