Joe Biden is desperate to delink Democrats from that whole “defund the police” thing. But he’s not doing a very good job of it.
He was in Pennsylvania (whose Philadelphia has suffered the worst homicide rates in 50 years) to make a pro-police speech.
Instead, he insulted law enforcement.

In his short speech, Biden took the time to opine twice about how “there are some really lousy cops… I mean it.” But despite a full-throated denunciation of mass shooters and extremists, he doesn’t once condemn really lousy street criminals.
Wow, Joe. Way to destroy your own agenda.
Biden tried to convince voters he was in favor of lowering the staggeringly high crime rates in blue cities.
He claimed he wanted to hire more cops and get the guns off the streets. But he spent most of the time further driving a wedge between cops and citizens.
The old man blamed cops for shooting black people while “jogging.” He even claimed they would kill black Americans while “sleeping in their homes.”
Way to build trust with police, Joe!
Not once did he mention that crime is out of control because left-wing prosecutors are putting criminals back on the streets.
In blue cities like New York and Philly, criminals are released without bail. Radical DAs are putting criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens.
You don’t have to be a genius to predict the results.
So, for all of Joe’s bellyaching, he ignored one of the most critical parts of ending this crime wave.
And the parts he did pretend to care about, hiring more cops, he undermined by bashing them.
Isn’t that ironic? Biden claims Democrats didn’t defund police (when they did), but ended up spewing the same poison the left always does.
