After Biden Plan to Raise ‘Army’ of 87,000 IRS Agents Slips Out – Senator Ted Cruz Demands for the IRS to be Abolished

What’s Happening:

Senate Democrats broke their own promises by passing a new spending bill that will raise taxes on most Americans.

But perhaps the worst part of this radical climate bill is a measure to add a staggering 87,000 new bloodsuckers to the IRS roll.

Ted Cruz was in no way pleased, saying it’s time to do something about this agency.

From Twitter:

Democrats want to make the IRS larger than the Pentagon, the State Department, the FBI, and the Border Patrol combined.

That’s a terrible idea. We should abolish the IRS!

During a speech on the Senate floor, Ted Cruz revealed that Democrats don’t need to add 87,000 new IRS workers just to go after billionaires.

He warned that Democrats are trying to make the IRS bigger than the Pentagon, the Department of State, the FBI, and the Border Patrol combined.

Why on earth would they need to do that… unless they want to build an army to go after every last taxpayer?

Adding so many more IRS agents could give the agency the manpower to audit every last hard-working stiff who already pays too much to the government.

This kind of workforce could become a virtual Gestapo, shaking down even teens who work part-time at Denny’s.

I wouldn’t even put it past this IRS from bullying children who open up lemonade stands in the summer!

Ted Cruz has a novel solution: abolish the IRS. He’s not the first Republican to voice this desire.

Rand Paul’s father, Ron Paul, famously demanded an end to federal tax and the IRS.

I’m sure more than a few Americans would rally around this idea, far more than those who supported abolishing ICE or police departments.

But could it be possible? We have no idea. But we do know it won’t happen with the Congress we have now.

Key Takeaways:

  • Ted Cruz blasted Democrats who are trying to add 87,000 workers to the IRS.
  • He warned that this move would weaponize the IRS against most Americans.
  • The Republican senator called for abolishing the IRS.
